Abu Bae? That’s corny lol Anyway, I spoke to your mother over the phone a while back. She just wanted my opinion on an issue involving your sister and her granddaughter. Your mother is doing extremely well right now. She’s been clean and sober for a while and she’s in a great place in life. I was extremely happy to hear that. She deserves peace, love and happiness as much as anybody else. She’s made her share of mistakes when it comes to her life and her children, but she’s made the most of her chance to figure it out and do better, regardless of how unforgiving you or anyone else is towards her.
But enough about her. Welcome back to being black lol. I could have sworn you were about to start bleaching your skin or some other dumb shit lol. Seriously tho, I don’t understand what your problem is with Islam and Muslims. People of all races have exploited our communities. You think Arabs are different because many of them are Muslims? Here’s a news flash: Most of those Arabs you come across aren’t practicing Muslims. They could care less about following what’s in the Quran or any other holy book. At the same time you have black Muslims who claim to be practicing Islam yet they kill other black Muslims for petty differences. The blood of a Muslim is supposed to be haram when it comes to other Muslims. But if that was the case, the Imam in NJ wouldn’t have gotten killed.
The lazy brain is the one who judges the perfect religion by it’s imperfect followers. And it’s probably not a good idea to call the Qur’an satanic, even if you don’t believe in it. All it’s saying is that Almighty God is one with no partners and he had no parents or children. He was not born to anyone nor did he have offspring. To say He was or did is to bring Him down to the level of His creation which he is far, far above. This is why Muslims place their heads to the ground when they pray. On the day of judgement, when you stand alone in front of God, the first thing you’re going to want to do is prostrate. But your spine will be turned into one solid bone, and you will not be able to bow or prostrate. You had your chance on earth.
The real question is why are you still so focused on Islam and Muslims? The answer is simple: you’re searching. Searching for the truth. Searching for answers. Searching for what makes sense. Searching for God. Keep reading the Quran and pray that Allah give you the understanding and wisdom to see the truth within it. Not everyone is blessed to be able to do so. And there are only 3 Abrahamic faiths. Jews and Hebrews were simply the original Muslims because they worshipped One God first. The original Christians were also Muslims because they worshipped the same God that Jews did. Jesus never said he was the son of God nor did he say worship him as God. He said worship your Lord who is ONE. When Jesus returns to earth in the last days, he will return as a Muslim who places his head on the ground in prayer like Muslims do.
I will continue to invite you to Islam because I know that deep down inside, it’s calling you. Before you were placed in your mother’s womb, you existed as a perfect spirit. When Allah created Adam, he pulled from his loins the spirits of all of mankind that would ever be created and walk the earth. He said to all of mankind “AM I NOT YOUR LORD?” All of mankind bore witness at that time that Allah is their creator and the Lord of all that exists. We don’t remember this because it happened ions before we were born. But your spirit has that memory. This is why when you accept Islam, you are returning to the faith that you’ve had from the beginning of your existence before you ever existed as a human being. That is the purpose of this life. This test, this journey, is simply a journey to the realization and understanding that to Allah belongs everything. He protects everything. He sustains everything. He has knowledge of everything. And to Him does everything return, including you, Demetrice Shaunte Gordon Sightler.
But of course, you have been blessed with the gift of free will, which all humans have. This is what makes us greater than the Angels. Our bodies are what makes us greater than the Jinn. We have a choice. You can live the rest of your life in denial, doing whatever you want to do. Spend the rest of your life chasing desires. Spend the rest of your life focused on your family. Spend the rest of your life focused on the world and other people. But just know that all of those things, your desires, your family, the rest of the world, other people, all of those things end when you die. The only thing that doesn’t end when you die is your connection with Allah. Meanwhile, Islam teaches us that once we accept that there is no God but Allah, and nothing is to be worshipped but Him, not only do we have a purpose that lives on beyond the grave, but all of the things we do in this life can be connected to that purpose, which gives us balance and blessings. I could be out there fornicating like I was as a youngster, young, dumb and full of cum, but nah. I got married which is what Allah loves. Now everytime I have sex with my wife, I’m doing what Allah loves, and I’m receiving blessings from Him. Imagine that! Instead of just going to work to make money, I go to work to help others and take care of my family, both of which is what Allah loves, and so I’m receiving blessings!
I love that you study history, spirituality, religion, science, philosophy, etc. Those are important. I also love that you are living a clean life and taking care of yourself and others. That’s great. But just know that the true test is knowing your Creator without seeing him. So many Atheists and what not will say God doesn’t exist because they can’t see Him. Problem with that is, did you not exist because we couldn’t see you one hundred years ago? Do your dead relatives not exist because they are dead and gone and we can’t see and interact with them anymore. Of course they do. It wouldn’t be much of a test from Allah if you could see him and the Angels and Jinn. Those are all a part of the unseen world. When we die, we will also become part of that world. But then the test will be over and it will be too late to believe and submit. Return to Allah before you are returned to Allah. And Allah of course, knows best.
