We are going to take a shortcut around the afrocentered social media malarkey. We are going to absolutely dismiss the uncouth egotistical internet personalities that attempt to make it seem that they know something about the history of America that others do not. This short post is based upon the fact that it is indeed common knowledge that the “discovery” of the Americas by the Spanish was the direct result of the defeat of the Moors. This book was published in 1883. This is 30 years before the establishment of the Moorish Science Temple of America in 1913, the Nation of Islam in 1930, and the %5 Nation in 1964. This book was published 3 years before Timothy Drew was even born to this realm in 1886. The title of this book explains that the Europeans that were shown the way to the NEW WORLD believed they were upon Moors upon arriving to the Americas. Europeans were well aware of the presence and existence of NUBIANS, EGYPTIANS, and NEGROIDS from beyond the Sahara. Were they called or considered to be Moors? Yes and no. More importantly, what were those people calling themselves? Alkebulan was the name of the land.. what were the names of the people? Certain personalities on the internet would have you believe all POC descend from Moors, when in reality the Moors were mixed race people and in no way at all the ORIGINAL MAN. Science has proven such without a doubt. That’s besides the point though.. The ORIGINAL people, ABORIGINAL people, and FIRST INHABITANTS of many of the drifting continents weren’t simply HOMOSAPIENS either. Many were another kind of humanoid.. great genocides occured and “lesser” creatures were exterminated and replaced by beings with higher faculties. Period.

The EUROPEANS definition of the word Moor as it relates to a people isn’t the same as it would have been applied in the AMERICAS. If the word MOOR was/is synonomous with the classification “black” or mixed/mulatto that says a whole lot about what the Spaniards encountered when they invaded what is now the U.S. and Mexico. It has been written that “Moors are not a distinct or self-defined people”.. and that in 1911 the Encyclopedia Brittanica observed that the term had “no real ethnological value”. Also it was the Portuguese that introduced the names “Ceylon Moors” and “Indian Moors”. This attests to the fact that the term Moor was used to designate ethnic and cultural specificity. Mostly skin color and religious belief.. They make sure to designate the NEGRO (black in the Spanish language) stock of this designation, which is a NATION.. (right?) BLACKAMOOR.
